Working With Me

Meet Manjusha

I am a registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals maintain a positive outlook and navigate life’s challenges. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work and over ten years of experience across various social work environments—including non-profit community agencies, Family Health Teams, Community Mental Health Crisis Lines, and hospital mental health services in the Greater Toronto Area—I have developed a comprehensive skill set. My passion for understanding social issues, people’s perspectives, and their inner worlds began at a young age, making a career in Social Work a natural path for me.

My Learnings as a Professional

My Therapeutic Style

I strongly believe that sharing untold stories in a safe space can profoundly heal wounds. In our therapeutic journey, I will be your fellow traveller, walking alongside you to unpack and uncover your most painful memories and inner fears.

I am dedicated to providing a supportive and enabling environment where you can freely share your challenges. Our journey together will help you become more aware of who you are and where you belong, allowing you to take measured steps toward positivity.

I firmly believe in positive psychology, which empowers individuals to unleash their strengths and potential. As your supporter and enabler, I am committed to helping you navigate your path to healing and self-discovery.

Holistic Care Approach

I provide holistic care that addresses the physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of healing. This comprehensive approach ensures that your well-being is fully considered and supported throughout your therapeutic journey.

By integrating these dimensions, my holistic care approach aims to help you achieve balanced, comprehensive healing and personal growth.

Outside of My Practice

I am a music lover outside of my practice. Music fills me with energy, happiness, and spiritual upliftment.

Nature as the Ultimate Healer

When you scrape your knee as a child, your first instinct is to run to your mother. She will make everything better with a kiss, a bandage, and maybe even an ice cream cone. As we get older, we may not think about our moms quite so much when we get hurt. But the fact is, Mother Earth has the power to heal all our wounds. Just think about it: when you cut yourself, your blood clots to stop the bleeding; when you break a bone, it grows back stronger; even when you lose a tooth, another one grows in its place.

When feeling down, walk in the park or lie down in the grass and let Mother Earth work her magic. The therapy and the learnings you get help you heal as the rewiring process starts in the brain, and you’ll eventually feel the change.
