I am a registered Social Worker and Psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals maintain a positive outlook and navigate life’s challenges. With a Master’s Degree in Social Work and over ten years of experience across various social work environments—including non-profit community agencies, Family Health Teams, Community Mental Health Crisis Lines, and hospital mental health services in the Greater Toronto Area—I have developed a comprehensive skill set. My passion for understanding social issues, people’s perspectives, and their inner worlds began at a young age, making a career in Social Work a natural path for me.
I engaged in action research across both rural and urban areas, leveraging the collective wisdom of participants, researchers, and communities to foster positive social change. This journey has deepened my understanding of challenges such as poverty and deprivation and the transformative potential of empowerment. My fascination with the human mind has grown through my interactions with people, and over the past six years, I have focused on alleviating human suffering and empowering individuals. Engaging with people energizes me, and these experiences have profoundly enriched my career. I’ve learned that having someone to support and clarify one’s situation is often crucial—embodying the essence of psychotherapy.
In the mental health field, my work has addressed a wide range of issues, including trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, intimate partner violence, and social inequities. A key aspect of my practice is fostering peaceful, collaborative, and respectful relationships. Although I use various methods, my primary specialization is trauma healing.

Nature as the Ultimate Healer
When you scrape your knee as a child, your first instinct is to run to your mother. She will make everything better with a kiss, a bandage, and maybe even an ice cream cone. As we get older, we may not think about our moms quite so much when we get hurt. But the fact is, Mother Earth has the power to heal all our wounds. Just think about it: when you cut yourself, your blood clots to stop the bleeding; when you break a bone, it grows back stronger; even when you lose a tooth, another one grows in its place.
There are key areas where we will collaborate closely with you to drive meaningful change.
