Working With Me

Meet Manjusha

I am a registered Social Worker and a Psychotherapist helping people to stay positive and embrace challenges in life. I have a Master’ Degree in Social Work and over a decade of experience working in different social work settings. It includes non-profit community-based agencies, Family Health Teams, Community Mental Health Crisis Line, and Hospital’s Mental Health Services in the Greater Toronto Area. From a young age, I was passionate about how social issues emerge, understanding people’s language, inner world, and world views. Thus, pursuing a career in Social Work was my obvious choice. Currently I am working as a Trauma Therapist in one of the largest Mental Health & Addiction Treatment Facilities in North America, providing treatment for people living with serious mental illness, concurrent disorder and addiction.

My Learnings

“Only the wounded healer can truly heal.” – Irvin Yalom

There had been a multitude of situations in my personal life that threw my life upside down. How I have helped access therapy to deal with my life transition and how therapy helped me to look at the positive sides of life, I began to realize multiple reasons to live for and in a contended manner. Having gone through such experiences, I felt an instant connection with people in similar life situations.

I decided to go full throttle to help people overcome life challenges and instill a sense of positivity in them. My aim has always been to bring back normalcy in people’s lives and be with them in this transformation journey. I decided to go full throttle to help people overcome life challenges and instill a sense of positivity in them. My aim has always been to bring back normalcy in people’s lives and be with them in this transformation journey, Yes, it inspired me. In Therapy practice, I say what I do, what I did, and do, and still remember how I helped!

My Therapeutic Style

I strongly believe that any untold stories shared in a safe place, heal the wound potentially.

Indeed, in my therapeutic journey, you will be my fellow traveller. I will be walking along with you to unpack and uncover your most painful memories and inner fear. I strongly believe in positive psychology, enabling individuals to unleash their strengths and potential. I can be your supporter and enabler and provide you with that safe space to freely share your challenges with me. I am also committed to walking along with you to unpack and uncover your most painful memories and inner fear. The journey we will walk together will make you more aware of who you are and where you belong and take measured steps toward positivity. Outside of my practice

I am a music lover outside my practice. Music fills me with energy, happiness, and a sense of spiritual uplifting. I love.

Nature as Ultimate Healer!

When you scrape your knee as a child, your first instinct is to run to your mother. And she will make everything better with a kiss, a bandage, and maybe even an ice cream cone. As we get older, we may not think about our moms quite so much when we get hurt. But the fact is, Mother Earth has the power to heal all our wounds. Just think about it: when you cut yourself, your blood clots to stop the bleeding; when you break a bone, it grows back stronger; even when you lose a tooth, another one grows in its place.

When you are feeling down, take a walk in the park or lie down in the grass and let Mother Earth work her magic. The therapy and the learnings you get would help you heal once the rewiring process starts in the brain and feel the change eventually.
